How The Renaissance People Used Scientific Imagination

maxresdefault (1)Today we’d like to take you on a trip to the past. Many people agree that The Renaissance was an extremely important era for the western world which led to some of the most important and prominent ways of thinking that are still used today. Think about the wonders of Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo or about the birth of the Scientific Research Methods.

The following documentary will go in-depth about the Renaissance, and more importantly about the way of thinking that seemed to rule that specific era of our history. Figures like Da Vinci and Michelangelo happen to show some similar characteristics in their way of work, namely that they (and many other great thinkers and doers of their time) used their imagination in combination with scientific expertise and hands-on Craftsmanship to create some of the most beautiful art pieces in history as well as providing us with some of the most important scientific insights from their time.

The documentary seems to be a bit old, but it does a great job on showing what the power of Art and Science can do when combined in the right way.
