Microscopic “Science Art”

So a couple of weeks ago we came across the website of some very interesting lady from the Netherlands. Loes Modderman decided she wanted to broaden her horizon after years of work in healthcare and trying to express her creativity music, writing and even doll making.

This was done by stepping into the amazing fields of photomicrography and sandcollecting. The results she found throughout the years stacked up and she put them on her website for showcasing. We strongly encourage you to take a look at some of the wonderful photographs she made of microscopic life and sand. It may sound a bit boring perhaps, but we assure you, the results will probably shock you in a positive way ;)

(below you can find a small collection of her photography ranging from microscopic crystals to plastics and bubbles)
